2 vacancies exist on the Parish Council due to there not being enough candidates standing for election on the 4th May 2023.

These vacancies can be filled by co-option and the term of office will run from 16th May 2023 until May 2027. To qualify, you must be a British subject, aged over 18 years old, and an elector. You must reside in, or within 3 miles of the Normanton on Soar parish boundary or occupy as owner or tenant any land or premises therein or have your principal or only place of work here, and you must not be disqualified from holding office as a Councillor.
